How we work
Beautiful products, bespoke fitting
We don’t have showrooms and probably never will. We have workshops — and we meet customers in their own homes, where we can listen to what they need and want, look at the building properly, and talk through the options that will keep them warm, safe and comfortable.
No two homes or workplaces are alike, so every quote is based on the building in front of us. We can usually offer several approaches at different budgets and explain the trade‑offs of each, rather than pushing one answer.
All our quotes follow a site survey and a proper conversation. We don’t give quotes over the phone, but if you email us your requirements we can normally come back with a guide price.

Wood‑Burning Stoves
Wood‑burning stoves have been at the core of our business from the beginning. We supply a curated range of leading UK and continental models, with the chimney systems to match.
Boiler Stoves
A boiler stove heats the room it sits in and the rest of the house besides. We specialise in fitting them and in getting more out of them — better efficiency, cleaner burns, and proper integration with the rest of the heating system.
Biomass Boilers
Automated pellet and chip‑fed boilers alongside manual‑filled log boilers, for homes, workplaces and multi‑property sites. We are a HETAS approved contractor for woody biomass heating at all scales of installation.
Masonry Stoves
High‑mass wood heaters that store warmth and release it slowly, staying warm for up to a full day. We have been fitting masonry stoves, tile stoves, kakelugnar, Russian fireplaces and Finnish fireplaces for over 20 years.
Solar Thermal
Solar thermal — not to be confused with solar PV — is an excellent addition to almost any heating system. We fit solar hot water, solar combi systems and full Sonnenhaus designs, and pair them with thermal storage so the heat is there when you want it.
Thermal Stores
Hot water storage systems, also known as thermal stores, accumulator tanks and buffer tanks, sit at the heart of our work. We supply both off‑the‑shelf and custom‑designed tanks, for everything from small cabins to large hotels.
Pellet Stoves
The look and warmth of a wood‑burning stove with automated ignition and control. We have been fitting pellet stoves for almost 20 years, as room heaters and as boiler models that run the whole house.
Underfloor Heating
We have designed, installed, laid concrete, wired and commissioned underfloor heating systems across the UK for over 20 years — a proven, reliable way to heat a whole home comfortably and efficiently.
Heat Pumps
Air source, ground source, ventilation cylinders and compact MVHR units — fitted since 2004, and designed to work with wood, solar and thermal storage rather than instead of them.
MVHR
Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery: a constant supply of fresh, filtered air while recovering the heat from the air going out. Fitted as standard on our new builds for over 25 years.
