We no longer install appliances supplied by customers.

Wood burning stoves – and multi-fuel stoves – are Gondwana’s bread and butter. We’ve installed them in luxury flats, huts, canal boats, bungalows, castles and old tenement flats, not to mention architect-designed homes, delightful period properties and new-build houses.

We are also involved a some unusual projects installing wood burning stoves in yoga/meditation cabins, weekend huts, canal boats and caravans – where a stove is a perfect affordable and sustainable way to heat the space.

We like to think we’re pretty good at it too: we work with some of Europe’s premium wood burning stove brands to create stunning features within homes and businesses all over Scotland, and in England too.

We are fully qualified to install wood burning stoves and multi-fuel burning stoves. We are also a Hetas and Napit MCS registered installer. We do full stove installs from start to finish with no sub-contractors. We also sell and install chimney products and hearths – such as stone or custom-polished concrete hearths and surrounds – as well as stone and wood surrounds and mantel pieces, and beams for fireplaces.

Please note that at Gondwana we don’t actively sell wood burning products that we are not installing ourselves: this is because of customer safety, quality, and the fact that high-quality stove manufacturers generally won’t warranty their products unless fitted by qualified personnel.

Wood burning stoves are not just something pretty to look at: They are a heating appliance in your home or business which if used correctly can improve reduce costs, help keep you warmer, and significantly improve your carbon footprint. Done properly, a good woodburning stove is an investment which should increase the value and desirability of your home.

There are technical calculations that need to be made in order to determine the size of stove that you need to heat your rooms correctly. Many websites have versions of this calculation, but in our experience it is hard for the untrained eye to get it right given that there a number of variables. That’s why at Gondwana Green Heat we don’t give out quotes over the phone.

All quotes and prices from Gondwana Green Heat are given after a site survey and a detailed chat with a customer to ensure we are providing them with a package that suits their needs. However we are happy to give you a guide price via email if you send us your requirements. At Gondwana Green Heat we do full stove installs from start to finish with no sub-contractors. We will even provide a install quote only for those that already have a appliance.
