Giving Back to Nature — Small, Local, Family‑Led
Our conservation work is simple, small‑scale and personal. We’re a family business, and our efforts to give back to nature are done by us, with our own hands, on our own land. No outsourcing. No corporate schemes. No purchased offsets. Just real, meaningful action rooted in heritage and carried out as a family.
We focus on two things that genuinely make a difference: trees and bees.
Trees — From Seed to Woodland
We don’t buy saplings. We don’t hire planting contractors. We do the entire process ourselves.
- Collecting native seeds from healthy local trees
- Growing the trees in‑house from seed to sapling
- Planting them ourselves in small pockets of land to restore woodland and support wildlife
This is slow, careful woodland regeneration — the way it used to be done. Every tree is grown with purpose, planted with intention and looked after by the family.
Bees — Wild, Natural, Unharvested
We don’t keep bees for honey. We keep bees for nature.
- Hand‑building log bee hives designed for wild bees
- Promoting natural bee behaviour
- Supporting pollinator numbers
- Strengthening local ecosystems
These are conservation hives, not production hives. We never harvest honey. The bees keep everything they make, exactly as nature intended.

Our renewable‑heating work reduces environmental impact inside homes. Our conservation work strengthens the natural environment outside them.
